At Pound River Church, we have a desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith. We want to glorify God by going into all the world and preaching the gospel, making disciples and teaching people to observe the things that Christ has commanded.
For many years Pound River Church has been helping spread God's good news here in our community and throughout the world, and we pray that God will continue to use our congregation to accomplish His will. Whether you've been attending church for years or haven't stepped into a church in decades, we hope you'll come and join us Sunday if you're looking for a bible centered church in our community.
When you come, we want you to feel welcomed and loved. We realize that attending a new church for the first time can be a little overwhelming. You may wrestle with the thoughts about bringing your kids and how they will behave. We encourage you not to worry about that, we know that kids aren’t always still and quiet. We love kids and our church is filled with them so yours will fit right in.
During the service, you'll hear our faith in Christ and our love for Him expressed in the songs we sing, prayers we pray and our preaching/teaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which we hold as the word of God. We are all there to worship the God who saved us!
We have an excellent Sunday school program from all ages that begins at 10am each Sunday and we our Sunday morning worship begins at 11am. No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us this Sunday.
