There is an alarming statistic that indicate that 80% of Christians do not regularly share their faith with others. This is of great concern considering the fact that 120 people across the world die every minute. We believe that Christ has commissioned all believers to go into the world and share the gospel. Sharing the truth of the gospel and showing people the way of salvation is an act of love.
Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father buy by me”. There is salvation in no one else other than Jesus. So it is our great privilege and great responsibility to take share this gospel with others.
At Pound River Church we are always looking for ways to share the gospel with our neighbors and our community. We engage in local events by giving out tracts, water, or other things that are needed. We use this time to offer to pray with people and share the gospel with them. We offer evangelism training for members who are interested in learning how to share their faith with others.
